MEATS
Raised on the flower-filled alpine pastures of the Val d’Hérens, Hérens cows produce tasty meat with a strong character. It is produced in limited quantities, using traditional know-how and can be eaten cured, as a sausage, grilled or stewed.
In addition to Hérens cows, many other meat products are produced in the region, including pork, lamb and goat.
