Featured product
In the land of the walnut
Walnut trees are indigenous trees that have been part of the landscape of the canton of Vaud for several centuries. Derivative products such as walnut oil are part of the culinary tradition of the canton, as evidenced by the many oil mills still present in Vaud in the 1940s.
The Moulin de Sévery, located about ten kilometers from Morges, is today one of the last oil mills in activity. Numerous natural oils are produced there by hand throughout the year: rapeseed, sunflower, hazelnut, sesame, pine nuts, grape or pumpkin seeds… and walnut, of course!
Extracted from Vaud nuts only, the Huile de noix AOP is pressed in the old-fashioned way in the Mill. Light and revitalizing, it is a pure concentrate of flavors from the Vaud region.
